Welcome to urbanista.com (the “Site”), operated by Urbanista AB (“Urbanista,” “we,” or “us”), a company registered in Sweden. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Site or placing an order. By using the Site you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, together with any additional terms that may appear on the Site from time to time (collectively, the “Conditions”).

 

We reserve the right to revise these Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Conditions. If you do not agree to these Conditions, please do not use the Site.

1. Terms of Sale

By placing an order on the Site you are making an offer to purchase a product subject to these Conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. To purchase from Urbanista you must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid payment method accepted by us. Urbanista retains the right to refuse any order at its discretion. When placing an order, you confirm that all details you provide are true and accurate, that you are an authorized user of the payment method used, and that sufficient funds are available to cover the cost of the goods.

 

2. Contract Formation

When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming receipt. This email is an acknowledgment only and does not constitute acceptance of your order. A binding contract between you and Urbanista is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email stating that the goods have been shipped. Only those goods listed in the dispatch confirmation email will form part of the contract.

 

3. Pricing and Availability

We make every effort to ensure that all product details, descriptions, and prices on the Site are accurate, but errors may occur. If we discover a pricing error for goods you have ordered, we will notify you promptly and give you the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it. If we are unable to reach you, the order will be treated as cancelled and any payment already made will be refunded in full.

 

All prices shown on the Site are final prices. Where applicable, prices are inclusive of VAT at the rate applicable in the EU country of delivery. Urbanista is not responsible for any currency conversion rates applied by your bank or card provider.

 

Stock availability may change. If an item becomes out of stock after your order is placed, we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a refund for the affected item.

 

4. Delivery

Urbanista ships to addresses within the European Union only. Orders to Sweden are shipped via PostNord; orders to all other EU member states are shipped via UPS. Standard delivery is 2–6 business days from the date of dispatch. Applicable shipping costs are displayed at checkout before you complete your order.

 

Tracking information will be provided in your shipping confirmation email. If your order has not arrived within 6 business days of receiving that confirmation, please contact us at support@urbanista.com and we will investigate with the courier on your behalf.

 

Orders are normally packed and dispatched within the next business day, although dispatch may take slightly longer during periods of high order volume. We operate Monday to Friday and do not dispatch on public holidays.

 

5. Returns and Refunds

We offer a 30-day return policy for orders placed on urbanista.com. To be eligible, items must be unused, unworn, and returned in their original sealed packaging with all tags attached. You will also need to provide your order confirmation or proof of purchase.

 

To initiate a return, please contact us at support@urbanista.com before sending anything back. Once your return is accepted, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label and instructions on how to return your item. Items sent back without first obtaining approval will not be accepted.

 

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 3–5 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item. Please note that original shipping costs and any applicable duties or taxes are non-refundable.

 

Items purchased through authorized retailers, including Amazon, cannot be returned directly to Urbanista. Please contact the retailer from whom you made your purchase.

6. Your Statutory Rights

As a consumer in the European Union, you have statutory rights under EU law, including rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and applicable national consumer protection legislation. These Conditions do not affect or limit any such statutory rights. In particular, if a product is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under applicable law. Nothing in these Conditions constitutes a waiver of any statutory right you may have.

 

7. Payments

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Klarna, Swish, PayPal, and other local payment options where available. The payment options available to you will be displayed at checkout. Upon receiving your order we carry out a standard pre-authorisation check to verify that sufficient funds are available. Goods will not be dispatched until this check is completed. Your payment method will be charged once your order has been accepted.

 

8. Discount Codes

Discount codes may be offered to customers from time to time. Codes may only be applied to purchases made through the account or channel for which the code was issued. Only one discount code may be applied per order. The specific conditions of use for any discount code will be stated at the time the code is issued.

 

9. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid until the expiry date shown on the voucher. Urbanista is not responsible for stolen, lost, or deleted gift vouchers. Please ensure you enter the correct delivery email address when purchasing a gift voucher, as we cannot accept responsibility if a voucher is used by someone other than your intended recipient due to an incorrect email address. Refunds for gift vouchers will be issued to the original payment method.

 

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all materials on this Site — including images, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, video clips, and written content (the “Contents”) — are the copyright, trademarks, trade dress, and/or other intellectual property of Urbanista. The Contents and the Site as a whole are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may download or copy Contents for personal, non-commercial purposes only. No title or interest in any downloaded or copied materials is transferred to you. You may not reproduce, publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell, or otherwise exploit any of the Contents, the Site, or any related software, in whole or in part.

 

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal data in connection with your use of the Site and our products and services. We encourage you to read it carefully.

 

12. Customer Support

Customer support is available via support@urbanista.com and through our live chat at urbanista.com. Initial responses may be handled by automated support systems. Where a matter requires human review, it will be escalated to a member of our support team.

 

13. Order Restrictions

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order for any reason and without liability. This includes limiting quantities per person, per household, or per order. In the event that we modify or cancel an order, we will endeavour to notify you using the contact details provided at the time of ordering. If your payment method has already been charged for a cancelled order, Urbanista will issue a full refund.

 

14. Product Information

Product descriptions, specifications, and images on the Site are provided for information purposes only. We make every effort to display product colours as accurately as possible; however, we cannot guarantee that your screen’s display of any colour will be accurate. Urbanista reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to update information at any time without prior notice.

 

15. User-Generated Content

General

By posting, distributing, submitting, or displaying any comment, message, data, text, photo, graphic, or other content (“User Generated Content”) to the Site, you:

•       grant Urbanista a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable, irrevocable, fully paid and sublicenseable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, publish, create derivative works from, and publicly display and perform such User Generated Content;

•       grant Urbanista the right to use the name you submit in connection with such User Generated Content; and

•       represent and warrant that you own or have the lawful right to submit the User Generated Content, that it is accurate and not misleading, and that its use does not violate these Conditions or any third-party rights.

 

User Generated Content is deemed non-confidential. Urbanista reserves the right to delete, edit, modify, reject, or decline to post any User Generated Content at its sole discretion and without notice.

 

Interactive Areas

The Site may contain forums, blogs, bulletin boards, or other interactive areas. You are solely responsible for your use of such areas. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable; that promotes illegal activity; that infringes any intellectual property rights; that contains personally identifiable information of any person without their consent; or that contains viruses or other harmful code. Urbanista takes no responsibility for User Generated Content posted by users and reserves the right to remove any content without notice.

 

Comments and Submissions

Feedback, suggestions, reviews, ideas, and questions submitted to the Site (“Comments”) will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. Urbanista shall have the royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, and transferable right to use, copy, distribute, publish, perform, sell, adapt, and create derivative works from such Comments. You agree that no Comments submitted by you will violate any third-party rights or contain unlawful, abusive, or obscene material.

 

16. Copyright Complaints

If you believe in good faith that materials on this Site infringe your copyright, please send us a written notice including:

•       A clear identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed;

•       A clear identification of the material you claim is infringing, including a link to its location on the Site;

•       Your contact details, including email address and telephone number;

•       The statement: “I have a good faith belief that the material claimed as copyright infringement is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;” and

•       The statement: “I confirm that the information in this notification is accurate and I am the copyright owner, or am authorised to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Urbanista, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or relating to your use of the Site or any breach by you of these Conditions.

 

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you hold under applicable EU law, any dispute arising under these Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have the right to submit a dispute to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Urbanista’s email address for ODR purposes is support@urbanista.com.

 

19. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. Urbanista is not responsible for the content of any linked website, and the inclusion of a link does not imply any endorsement by Urbanista. Any concerns regarding linked sites should be directed to the relevant third party.

 

20. Termination

These Conditions remain in effect unless terminated by you or by Urbanista. Urbanista may terminate these Conditions at any time and deny you access to the Site if you fail to comply with any provision hereof. The sections relating to Intellectual Property, Indemnification, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law shall survive any termination.

 

21. Disclaimer

The Site and the materials and products available on it are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Urbanista disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU or Swedish law.

 

22. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Urbanista shall not be liable for any indirect, special, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, or from the conduct of other users. Nothing in these Conditions limits or excludes Urbanista’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

 

23. Miscellaneous

These Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Urbanista with respect to your use of and access to the Site, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings. If any provision of these Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The failure of Urbanista to enforce any provision of these Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. The Site is controlled and operated by Urbanista AB from its offices in Stockholm, Sweden.
